Description

Baltimore Key Bridge collapsed after being hit by a freighter early Tuesday morning and sending at least eight people from a construction crew into the water as a large section of the bridge crashed into the Patapsco River. Scott gives an update on the situation and asks listeners what they think of the situation. Scott looks at Dodger’s star player Shohei Otani making a statement on the situation involving his former interpreter’s sports betting scandal. Shohei read a statement saying he was "very saddened and shocked that someone who I trusted has done this." Ohtani reiterated that he never gambled on sports, never asked someone else to gamble on his behalf, and never went through a bookmaker to gamble. He said that his former interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, had stolen money from him, and laid out his timeline of events. Pete Rose who is infamously banned from baseball for gambling on games, says he would be 'scot-free' if he had interpreter. Scott asks listeners what they think and shares why he personally does not gamble.
