Scott is joined by Tim Spivey, Vice President for Spiritual Life at Pepperdine university. They discuss the Franklin Fire in Malibu exploding overnight near the Pepperdine University campus, burning more than 2,700 acres and forcing thousands of people to evacuate the area, how the school is reacting to the fire, the importance of ministering to people during these hard times and pray for those affected by the fire. Scott also looks at Eric Adams comments on the Daniel Penny case and said Jordan Neely ‘should not have had to die,’ but respects the jury’s acquittal. Scott asks listeners what they think and asks if this is a political issue or a homeless issue?
