First off he breaks down what defines a staging area, how the deer use it, and what kind of sign is usually left behind that will help identify these areas. He talks about the usual suspects like terrain features, edge, vegetation, and their relationship to a given food source. Lastly, he talks about how, in his experience, staging areas can be hunted in both mornings and afternoons given a rock solid access route and of course the right wind direction. While listening to this episode just remember that Dan has minor brain damage due to partying hard in his 20's.
