Episode Details

In this episode of Relatable Wisdom, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Darren Ault, a passionate author, former coach, and regional vice president, who shared the powerful quote that’s guided his life: “Go therefore and make disciples of all men.” For Darren, this mantra—rooted in the well-known Bible verse Matthew 28:18-20—wasn’t just about faith, but about leadership, mentorship, and positively influencing those around us. Darren drew from his diverse experiences, spanning military service, coaching youth basketball, and corporate leadership, to show how true leadership begins with leading oneself and then radiates out to impact teams and communities. We explored how grace, humility, and self-awareness are essential to being a role model, and why real leaders empower others to shine in their own right. Whether you’re a coach, parent, manager, or simply striving to be a better person, Darren’s insight will inspire you to lead by example and make a difference wherever you are.
