Oil, generally, is used symbolically to denote the presence or impartation of the Holy Spirit for consecration in many parts of the Bible. In the parable of the Kingdom of Heaven told in Matthew 25.1-13, we see another meaning and deeper application; The oil was carried in extra quantities in the vessels of five virgins to convey a sense of wisdom, discretion, spiritual intelligence and preparedness for an anticipated encounter with the Bridegroom - Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost declared September as our season of CARRYING EXTRA OIL in our year of GLORY & MANIFESTATION.
