Sk: V Bratislave, v tichej rezidenčnej štvrti, bola malá bytovka, v ktorej bývali Jozef a Mária.
En: In Bratislava, in a quiet residential district, there was a small apartment building where Jozef and Mária lived.

Sk: Leto bolo v plnom prúde.
En: Summer was in full swing.

Sk: Slnko svietilo a teplo prenikalo do ich útulného ale preplneného bytu.
En: The sun was shining, and the heat was penetrating their cozy but crowded apartment.

Sk: Jozef sedel za svojím stolom.
En: Jozef was sitting at his desk.

Sk: Počítač bzučal a stôl bol pokrytý papiermi a šálkami od kávy.
En: The computer was humming, and the desk was covered with papers and coffee mugs.

Sk: Jozef sa snažil sústrediť.
En: Jozef was trying to concentrate.

Sk: Pracoval ako IT profesionál a mal dodať dôležitý projekt.
En: He worked as an IT professional and had to deliver an important project.

Sk: Bol však vystresovaný.
En: However, he was stressed.

Sk: Práca z domu síce mala svoje výhody, ale aj nevýhody.

Sk: V tej istej miestnosti pracovala Mária, jeho dobrá kamarátka a spolubývajúca.

Sk: Mária bola grafická dizajnérka a pracovala na voľnej nohe.
En: Mária was a freelance graphic designer.

Sk: Videla, že Jozef má problémy.
En: She could see that Jozef was struggling.

Sk: "Jozef, ako sa ti darí?
En: "Jozef, how are you doing?"

Sk: " spýtala sa starostlivo Mária.
En: Mária asked with concern.

Sk: "Je toho na mňa veľa.
En: "It's too much for me.

Sk: Musím dokončiť projekt do piatka, ale vôbec nemám pokoj, ani čas sa sústrediť," odpovedal Jozef skleslo.
En: I have to finish the project by Friday, but I have no peace or time to concentrate," Jozef replied dejectedly.

Sk: Na chvíľu zavládlo ticho, prerušované iba stoktom klávesnice.
En: For a moment, there was silence, interrupted only by the clicking of the keyboard.

Sk: Jozef sa cítil preťažený a neistý.
En: Jozef felt overwhelmed and uncertain.

Sk: Občas rozmýšľal, či by mal niekoho požiadať o pomoc, ale vždy mal pocit, že to musí zvládnuť sám.
En: Sometimes he wondered if he should ask someone for help, but he always felt like he had to handle it himself.

Sk: V ten deň mal Jozef dôležitý videohovor so šéfom.
En: That day, Jozef had an important video call with his boss.

Sk: No keď začal hovoriť, hlas sa mu triasol.
En: But when he began speaking, his voice trembled.

Sk: Povedal šéfovi, že projekt bude, ale vo vnútri cítil blížiaci sa burnout.
En: He told his boss that the project would be completed, but inside he felt a looming burnout.

Sk: Skoro sa rozplakal, keď šéf položil ďalšiu otázku.
En: He almost broke down when the boss asked another question.

Sk: V tom ho Mária jemne poklepala po pleci.
En: Then Mária gently tapped him on the shoulder.

Sk: "Musíš si oddýchnuť, Jozef.
En: "You have to take a break, Jozef.

Sk: Pomôžem ti rozvrhnúť prácu," navrhla jemne.
En: I'll help you plan out your work," she gently suggested.

Sk: Jozef na chvíľu zaváhal, ale nak
