SPD's (tentative) contract and what it means for the city

Description

How much should a brand new police officer in Seattle make?

The new tentative contract also includes large retroactive raises for current officers, and some changes to accountability.

Publicola Editor and Publisher Erica C. Barnett is here to explain what’s in it, and what it says about Seattle’s relationship with its police force.
