Episode 270 Published 5 months, 1 week ago
Description
David Veney spent about 9 years behind bars for a rape he did not commit in Maryland in 1996. He never met the victim, and was accused because of a parole officer who noted a body odor. He was released from prison in July 2005 & exonerated in January 2023 thanks to Governor Wes Moore, who later approved Mr. Veney’s compensation. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
