In today's image, we see the ongoing construction of the ELT - Extremely Large Telescope. This is expected to be completed later this decade and will be a 40-meter telescope. In the sky above, we see our Milky Way Galaxy as well as two satellite galaxies known as the Magellanic Clouds.
