Published 1 year, 7 months ago
Description

In today's image, we see the Triangulum Galaxy, also known as M33 which is one of the three large spiral galaxies in our local group. We also see a meteor that happened by chance to appear in the frame as the image was being taken. The meteor is within our atmosphere while the Galaxy is about 3 million light years away.
