2025 April 13 - An Unusual Hole in Mars

Published 11 months ago
Description

In today's image, we see a region of Mars including a hole where a meteor may have punched a hole through the Martian surface and into some caverns below. If this is correct, it may mean there is the possibility of some simple martian life in the caverns, shielded from the ultraviolet light of the Sun which sterilizes the surface.
