This week's Echo Sportscast features updates in local baseball and basketball leagues as playoffs begin and end, plus a feature interview with Evan Gomes, coach of the North Bay Bulldogs 12U tykes provincial football champions.
Video includes U18 Panthers' weekend win over the Sudbury Shamrocks and their playoff win over Gateway in the men's baseball league, as well as the 3s recreation division championship on Thursday night. The Guardians dribbled by the Knights in the third game of a best of three match.
At the end of the show, cohost Paul McLean bids compadre Dave Dale bon voyage as he departs for other adventures. They launched the Echo Sportscast together last fall.
