Description
In this episode of BC Food News, host Jennifer English discusses the ways A&W Restaurants is celebrating National Root Beer Float Day. On August 6, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time, guests can enjoy a free small Root Beer Float at participating A&W locations. Beyond the free treats, A&W Restaurants also encourages customers to make voluntary donations to the Disabled American Veterans organization (DAV) or purchase a commemorative, limited-edition Collector's Mug. Proceeds raised go directly to help veterans access various services. June 30 to August 6, a limited-edition 2025 A&W Collector's Root Beer Mug will also be on sale to benefit DAV. Since 2013, the A&W's annual National Root Beer Float Day celebration has raised over $1 million to support American veterans. The podcast also shared a bit about A&W Restaurants and the DAV, highlighting their respective histories, missions, and contributions.
