Aaron Donald headlines the off-season roster changes for the Los Angeles Rams. The veteran defensive tackle retired after the season. The Rams didn’t waste much time replacing their star defensive player with second round draft pick Braden Fiske. Fiske’s teammate edge rusher Jared Verse was the first-round selection of the Rams, their first time picking in the first round since 2016.
While Donald retires, the other veterans return to the team to run it again. Head coach Sean McVay comes back to lead the team along with quarterback Matthew Stafford. Stafford's favorite target Cooper Kupp also returns at wide receiver. Kupp is joined in a strong wide receiver room with Puka Nacua, last years late drafted rookie sensation.
Kyren Williams was responsible for a lot of Rams touchdowns in 2023, he’s back to lead the running back room with rookie third round selection Blake Corum of Michigan to join him. Tight end Tyler Higbee will likely not see action for a while. The tight end tore his ACL in the Rams playoff game in January and is still recovering. Colby Parkinson was brought in from their divisional rival Seattle Seahawks to fill that void.
