The Kansas City Chiefs will look to be the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls. The core is all back with Travis Kelce skirting retirement talk by signing a two year deal. Hollywood Brown is a huge upgrade from Marques Valdes-Scantling, but now he is facing injury questions after suffering a sternoclavicular injury at practice. Speedy rookie Xavier Worthy should be expected to make a quick impact with Brown going down.
Rashee Rice’s status is also still up in the air with a possible suspension looming. Isiah Pacheco looks poised to carry the load as the starter, with the Chiefs expecting him to have more of an impact this season than ever before. Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed was traded to the Titans where he got paid big time for his services to the team helping bring home Super Bowl titles. His departure will leave a hole in the defensive backfield.
The favorites to win the Super Bowl (+600) once again, lucked into only the 23rd hardest schedule of the season. The Chiefs' win total is set at 11.5 for the 2024 season after winning just 11 games in 2023.
