Ramesh, a businessman from Leicester with a wife and four-year-old son, had been visiting family in India for several months. His brother Ajay was also on the flight, sitting in a different row, but tragically did not survive. According to his boarding pass, Ramesh occupied seat 11A in the emergency exit row, positioned directly in front of the plane's left wing. Aviation experts expressed amazement that someone in that location could survive such a catastrophic crash, as that area typically experiences the most severe impact forces during accidents.
