S3E67 From 15 years of Domestic Violence to Empowering Women with Inspirational Stories, Inner Healing, and Lasting Transformation by Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff
Description
Gemma Serenity Gorokhoff is an award-winning entrepreneur, who was based in Los Angeles California from 2014 to 2022 and is now based in Phoenix, Arizona since 2023. She got her formal education at Kellogg, Chicago Booth, Wharton, MIT, NYU Mindfulness, and IMD ranked #1 for 12th year in a row by Financial Times in executive education. Gemma has 25+ years of experience helping others find their voice and step into the energy of success and has been featured on CBS 2 and on more than a hundred online platforms, private and public.
After victoriously overcoming 15 years of domestic violence, where she was beaten, put down, raped, and almost killed twice by strangulation, Gemma moved to the United States in 2014 without speaking English well enough to go around. She left everything behind, being even forced to leave her children behind, to flee the abuse of her ex-husbands and to fully rebuild herself afterward.
Gemma is a real Shero, who founded and is hosting the REAL TALK REAL WOMEN - BREAKING THE SILENCE AROUND ABUSE podcast / videocast / show where she is giving hope to victims all around the world hiding in plain sight that abuse is wrong, criminal and that they can do something about that. The show's mission is to help the audience recognize abuse, put the right words on it, and make the right decision for themselves because Gemma knows that that by spreading hope, light, love, and a future to look forward to, she is enlightening and elevating the world.
Gemma uses her voice, writing, consulting, and online courses, to share her insights on self-mastery, mindset surrounding your money stories, and the art of attracting love and your special person. Gemma is an advocate against domestic abuse, supporting victims and survivors to break free, heal, transform, and reach the light on the other side of the tunnel.
Gemma helps people make progress in their lives emotionally, mentally, and financially.
Lead author of the RISING AFTER ABUSE anthology, Gemma's story is found in the introduction
