Carolyn Margaret Andriano was a survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring and a pivotal witness in the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell. Andriano testified that she was recruited at about age 14 and abused at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion starting in 2001. Her testimony helped secure Maxwell’s conviction on charges of sex trafficking and related crimes
On May 23, 2023, Andriano was found dead in a hotel room in West Palm Beach, Florida. Authorities ruled her death an accidental overdose involving fentanyl, methadone, and alprazolam. She was 36 years old and left behind five children and her mother, who has since questioned the official findings and pushed for further accountability
