Description
Ben Ennis and Brent Gunning kick off this edition of The FAN Morning Show by diving straight into the Jays' 11-4 win over the Tigers that now has them atop the American League! The guys analyze Eric Lauer’s impressive outing, debating how long we could continue to see this version of Lauer. They then chat about Joey Loperfido’s home run, if we could finally see things start to click for him consistently, and why he could be the odd man out in trade talks. B&B then continue to look at Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s season so far and his efficiency at the plate, but wonder where his power has gone. Later on, the duo recap the trade sending Josh Naylor from Arizona to Seattle, before getting into other moves we could see around the league, such as where Eugenio Suárez might go. They finish off the hour pondering what the Jays rotation could look like come the postseason and take a look at Adam Svensson’s opening round 60 at the 3M Open.
