Description
Former soldier Keith Byrne has been jailed in Spain for 15 years for the murder of his girlfriend Kirsty Ward at a resort in Salou two years ago.
Byrne tried to claim Kirsty had taken her own life and even accused her of irrational behaviour, but a court ruled that he was the violent bully who had strangled her in a fit of jealousy after she tried to split from him.
