The partnership aims to advance young farmers and agri-food system entrepreneurs in the United States. The foundation has awarded CNFA a three-year grant of $450,000 to support thirty AGCO Foundation Youth AgriChampions aged between eighteen to forty. This initiative provides comprehensive training, mentorship, and seed grant funding, promoting sustainability and innovation in agri-food systems. VP of Global Corporate Sustainability at AGCO, Louisa Parker-Smith, and CEO of CNFA, Alan Pieper, speak of their hopes that these young innovators can contribute significantly to global sustainability and help in bridging the gap in access to nutritious food in underserved communities.
