Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, was arrested in Florida on October 24, 2024, facing serious federal charges linked to a murder-for-hire plot. Federal prosecutors allege that Durk orchestrated the 2022 attempted assassination of rapper Quando Rondo as retaliation for the 2020 killing of Durk’s close associate, King Von.
