Preserving Fertility, Hope, Sanity & Choice with The Chick Mission Founder, Amanda Rice

Season 2 Episode 100

After Amanda Rice was diagnosed with cancer three times before the age of 40, one of the most upsetting experiences she had had nothing to do with the cancer itself - it was the fact that no one told her, or seemed to care, that she may never be able to have kids as a result of the necessary treatment. So she founded The Chick Mission.

Since then, over 670 patients have been supported in the costs of their fertility treatments, saving these women a collective $8.8M. In addition, major mandates have been passed in New York, Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas (to name a few!), expanding access and funding to care for oncoertility patients.
