The More You Have

The More You Have

Description

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."  — Maya Angelou

Having a lack of creativity comes from a scarcity mindset. When you have a scarcity mindset, you feel as though there’s never enough. Feeling this way puts you in desperation mode. Working from desperation mode in any endeavor that you are a part of is inherently harmful.

Scarcity creates unnecessary competition. It creates a competition that is destructive rather than constructive. Creativity really cannot thrive in a negatively competitive environment.

Going back to the quote, the more you use your creativity, the more creativity that you will have. To add to that, the more you work with other creatives collaboratively, the more creativity that you will have.

When you work on creativity, you find more reasons to create, and you find more reasons to express yourself.
