00:00:00 Â Welcome to Warfare Prayers, the podcast where you will find guidance and strength for life's toughest battles. Here you'll be inspired and spiritually grounded through my daily devotions, discovering the power of deliverance and peace that comes from God's Word. This is a simple prayer for the men of your family. But before we pray, I want to go to the word and I want you to believe the word that is Proverbs three five through six. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, but in all of your ways. Acknowledge him and he will make straight your path. Your own understanding will tell you that your prayers are not working in your own understanding will discourage you because you're not seeing the results that you're praying for, your own understanding will confuse you, because it would seem like your prayers are just hitting the ceiling. But the Bible tells us, as you pray for the men in your family, trust in the Lord. Not with all of your reasoning, but trust in the Lord with all of your heart.
00:01:33 Â And don't lean on what you can. Reason what you can understand. Remember, brothers and sisters, we walk by faith and not by sight. So when all of your ways acknowledge him, even when you can't understand it, acknowledge him even when it doesn't make sense. Acknowledge him in all of your ways, and he will make straight your path. Let us pray. O father, in the matchless and powerful name of Jesus, who is the Christ, I lift up the men of my family before you right now. And I pray, father, that you would give them power to overcome the enemy. And I pray, father, that nothing by any means shall harm them, according to Luke ten and 19. Give them the discernment, the wisdom, the knowledge, to recognize that they have spiritual authority in you, and that with them it's hard. But with you nothing is impossible, because nothing is too hard for you, father. So I pray for the men of my family, and I pray, father, that they would put on the whole armor of God, that they would be able to stand against the tricks of the enemy, that they may realize that this wrestle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and wicke
