We don’t become stronger without struggle. That's an unfortunate fact. Life is a cycle of good times and bad times, happiness and sadness, peace and struggle.
If I lose my faith during difficult times in my life then that is a signal to me that I have work to do. Because I KNOW I can handle anything that life sends my way because I have already. For 67 years. And because of this I am strong enough to handle whatever it is.
Whenever you think you don’t have what it takes to get through, remember how much you have already survived. Look at the heartbreak that didn't cause you to lock your heart away. Look at the lost job that tuned into a new career. Look at the health concerns that caused you to change your lifestyle. Look at the money problems that taught you how to budget and get resourceful.
Look at all the ways you've learned when life gave you no choice but to. Find your strength in that.
