And we learned in the last episode that there are consequences when you neglect what's priority to God. The Jews prioritize their desires, their houses, their kingdom instead of God's kingdom, and in the end they experienced failure, frustration, and futility. No matter what they earn or gained, it was all a loss because God was not the center. You must seek first his kingdom. The Bible says in Proverbs, commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established. In today's episode, I want to talk about the second thing that God is calling the Jews to do through the prophet Haggai, and he's calling them to recommit to obedience.
