REDS POSTCAST: The Cincinnati Reds Sweep Attempt Falls SHORT vs the Mets; Ron Kulpa didn't Help

The Cincinnati Reds fell to the New York Mets 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Citi Field, narrowly missing a chance to complete the sweep. Despite the loss, the Reds played a solid all-around game but couldn’t deliver the big hit when it mattered most. Andrew Abbott followed up his All-Star appearance with six strong innings, keeping the Reds in it throughout. However, a controversial call involving Home Plate Umpire Ron Kulpa helped the Mets push across the go-ahead run in the eighth, scored by Juan Soto. The Reds will look to bounce back and keep their momentum rolling as they head to Washington for a three-game series against the Nationals starting Monday.
