Tanukichan is the captivating musical project of Oakland, California’s Hannah van Loon, a classically-trained artist who found her unique sound by blending her early influences with a love for “dad rock” bands like The Beatles and Incubus. Since 2016, she’s been a prominent voice in modern shoegaze and dream pop, often collaborating with Grammy-nominated chillwave pioneer Chaz Bear of Toro y Moi on releases like the Radiolove EP (2016), her breakout debut LP Sundays (2018), and the sophomore album GIZMO (2023)
