  1. Who is our foe?
  2. How formidable is our foe?
  3. What are his tactics?
  4. Where are we vulnerable to attack?

Three Principles – Three Practices:

Step #1: Develop PERSONAL COMPASSION – How?

  • By putting others’ needs ahead of our wants. -Philippians 4:14-15

Step #2: Develop a GENEROUS SPIRIT – How?

  • By releasing the very thing that has power to consume us. -Philippians 4:16

Step #3: Develop an ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE – How?

  • By understanding the inseparable relationship between our money and authentic worship. -Philippians 4:17-18

Conclusion: “Scouting Recommendations” -1 Timothy 6:17-19

Four Commands:

  1. Put your HOPE in God.
  2. Be RICH in good deeds.
  3. Be GENEROUS.
  4. Be willing to SHARE.
