Geoff, Mike, and Derrick discuss Minority Report (2002), a science fiction thriller set in the year 2054, where the District of Columbia is trying out a specialized police department known as "PreCrime" using three "Precogs" to predict and prevent murders (and only murders) before they occur.  We discuss the concerns with preemptive punishment, including issues involving constitutional law and criminal law, and also discuss privacy rights, hearsay, Fourth Amendment issues, and more.
