As part of a follow up to our May 9, 2025, episode "Labubu: Dolls of the Underworld," this episodes further explores the Labubu doll craze and the "uncanny valley," along with a recent online trend linking the creepy toys to the demon Pazuzu and a disturbing story about a teddy bear covered in what appeared to be human skin. We will blend together demonology, mythology, theology, and the like to obtain a better understanding of a trend that involves adults lining up at 3am to buy a mysterious monster in a box.
