Saudi Arabia attracted $860 million in venture capital funding in the first half of 2025, surpassing its total for 2024 and accounting for 56 percent of all VC deployed in the MENA region. The country recorded 114 VC deals, supported by government initiatives under Vision 2030 and organizations like Saudi Venture Capital. Saudi Arabia also ranked first globally in growth of international tourism receipts in early 2025 compared to 2019, according to UN Tourism.
