Crystal Rogers, a Kentucky mother of five who vanished in July 2015, was a true-crime mystery for years, until recently. On July 8, 2025, former boyfriend Brooks Houck was found guilty of murder and evidence tampering, while his accomplices Joseph Lawson and his father Steven Lawson were convicted of conspiracy and tampering, bringing renewed hope for justice despite Rogers’ remains still being missing.
