Gods Love When You Feel Unworthy

Gods Love When You Feel Unworthy

Season 1 Episode 184 Published 11 months ago
Description

When you feel unworthy, it's easy to believe that God's love is distant or conditional. But the truth is, His love is unwavering and unconditional, especially in those moments when you feel least deserving. In Romans 5:8, we are reminded, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." God's love isn't based on our performance or worthiness—it's rooted in His grace.

In those times when guilt, shame, or failure weigh you down, remember Ephesians 2:8-9: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." God's love is not something we can earn; it's a gift freely given to us, regardless of our imperfections.

Psalm 139:13-14 assures us, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Even when we feel unworthy, God sees us as His precious creation, fearfully and wonderfully made.

In moments of feeling unworthy, rest in the truth that God's love is always with you—steadfast, constant, and unconditional. You are deeply loved, just as you are.
