Sl: Jutro je bilo tiho in lepo.
En: The morning was quiet and beautiful.
Sl: Sonce se je dvignilo nad hribe okoli Blejskega jezera.
En: The sun rose above the hills around Blejsko jezero.
Sl: Voda je bila mirna, kot veliko ogledalo, ki je odsevalo nebo in plavajoče oblake.
En: The water was calm, like a large mirror reflecting the sky and drifting clouds.
Sl: Ptice so pele, in vonj cvetja je napolnil zrak.
En: The birds were singing, and the scent of flowers filled the air.
Sl: Na bregu jezera sta stala Tomaž in Metka.
En: On the shore of the lake stood Tomaž and Metka.
Sl: Tomaž je bil najstarejši sin v veliki slovenski družini.

Sl: "Praznujemo družino in tradicijo.
En: "We celebrate family and tradition.
Sl: Metka, vedno boš tu doma.
En: Metka, you will always have a home here."
Sl: "Metka se je dotaknila srce.
En: Metka touched her heart.
Sl: Povezava z družino je bila močna, vendar se je spraševala, kako združiti to z življenjem v tujini.
En: The connection with her family was strong, but she wondered how to balance it with her life abroad.
Sl: "Vi veste, kako dragocena je ta tradicija za mene," je rekla.
En: "You know how precious this tradition is to me," she said.
