The Sixers played the Spurs last night in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. They were blown out with a score of 111-70. VJ Edgecombe is still not playing in the Summer League due to a thumb sprain he sustained over three games ago. The Sixers said they will reevaluate the young player on Saturday to see if he is able to play. The Phillies start a new series with the Padres tonight. They look to bounce back from losing the series against the Giants and hopefully get things right before heading into the All-Star break.
