Anthony McCants, 23, is charged with murder and eight counts of child endangering for the March 2025 death of his 12-year-old step brother, Jadako Taylor. Akron Police went to the home after medics found Jadako unconscious following a 911 call. McCants describes on body camera video how he had Jadako taking ice baths and doing 50 push-ups and the boy became violently ill and later died.
