One arrest was made for possession of prohibited fireworks, and citations were issued to several individuals for municipal violations. On July 3, in the Chandler Heights community, there was a reported incident of alleged motor vehicle theft from a grocery store parking lot. The vehicle was later recovered abandoned, with the investigation still active.

Chandler Police also responded to multiple calls involving alleged drug/narcotic violations citywide during the week, consistent with recent monthly averages. During this period, the department continued to see increased reports of property crimes, particularly vandalism and vehicle-related thefts in commercial parking areas. No patterns of violent crime escalation were observed. The Chandler Police Department continues to urge residents to report suspicious activity and reminds the community that tip information can be provided anonymously by calling the Chandler Police tip line at 480-782-4440 or dialing 911 for emergencies. Police seek public assistance only when specific suspect information is released; as of this report, there are no active public alerts for suspect identification.
