Christian faith suggests there is a most important question upon which all life and history hangs, "who is Jesus Christ?" If he is indeed Lord of all, then knowing him might be the most important work we do in our lives. In a climactic moment in the final book of the Bible, the prophet John had a vision that continues to provoke us to know who Jesus is.
A voice describes Jesus as, "the Lion of Judah," but when John looks he sees, "a lamb, as if it had been slain." (Revelation 5:1-15) Jesus is so wonderfully different and so incapable of narrowly categorizing he is simultaneously lion and lamb.
This Sunday Praveena Jesberg shares a bit of her story while teaching about the Jesus we see revealed in the book of Revelation. Praveena is a gifted Bible teacher who along with her husband Tim and son Kiran are well loved friends to many in our congregation.
