Bundesliga returns with a Xhaka boom, Mbappé's home debut and more
Description
The Bundesliga returned this weekend, in some style. Musa and Ryan begin with Granit Xhaka’s ferocious strike that kicked the new season off where the last one left it: with late Leverkusen drama (03:14). Elsewhere, Vincent Kompany’s Bayern escaped a scare in Wolfsburg (09:29), Jamie Gittens came off the bench to win it for Dortmund (12:01), Freiburg’s new beginning and Heidenheim spoiling St. Pauli’s return to the top flight (20:00). They then shout out Kylian Mbappé’s home Real Madrid debut and some other La Liga bits (23:48), Serie A and some Premier League (34:29).
