The Red Sox (45-45) routed the Washington Nationals for the 2nd straight day and clinched a series win with a 10-3 win on Saturday afternoon in our nation's capital. The Sox have won 5 of 7 and are at .500 for the 16th time this season. The Sox have outscored the Nationals, 21-5, over the 1st 2 games of the series. The Sox will go for their 3rd series sweep of the season, and 1st on the road, on Sunday.

The Red Sox sent 11 hitters to the plate in the 3rd inning and scored 7 runs, 5 of the 7 came with 2 outs. Jarren Duran knocked in a pair of runs with a 2-out Triple, his 10th Triple of the season. The Sox are 8-7 in Buehler's 15 outings.
