For 50 years, Dean Yachison significantly impacted and mentored some of the finest companies and individuals in the health and nutrition industry. His career began at Vita Health under the stewardship of John Holtmann, whose guidance and encouragement shaped his professional future for over 21 years. Dean's tireless dedication and obvious enthusiasm, which were traits first recognized and embraced by John, have been felt across North America and Europe. Dean's legacy as an industry leader and role model is not only defined by his numerous well-documented successes, but also by his overwhelmingly favorable reputation amongst his peers.  

Dean's accomplishments are innumerable. During his longstanding career, his experiences ranged from assisting a number of start-up ventures to working for one of the largest nutrition companies in the world. Dean also touched all classes of trade in the nutrition industry spanning from direct to consumer, e-sales, MLM to health food, grocery, mass market, and even pharma. This was only possible, in part, due to the opportunities that John Holtmann and Lorne Seier gave to Dean in the early years of his career. Dean's diverse background led to a comprehensive understanding and skillset that pertained to all levels of the supply chain, including raw materials, primary production, manufacturing, distribution, and retail.  

As a consultant in his own company, DAY Natural, Dean shared his comprehensive insights and knowledgeable perspective to support others in achieving their objectives within the field. Dean takes great pride in generating growth for the companies with which he has worked. He credits his interest in and ability to build viable businesses with start ups from John, who always expressed a true regard for small businesses. In addition, Dean also assisted well-established enterprises to expand into the health and nutrition world and revitalized struggling stagnate organizations to new levels. Across settings, Dean has consistently believed that the health and nutrition industry is about providing solutions (not simply selling products); thereby, he always maintained a focus on what matters most – the needs of consumers health and well being.  

In addition to his tangible achievements, Dean's well-known qualities as a passionate, ambitious, trustworthy, and genuine individual makes him a leader worthy to learn from. He is a true visionary, whose strong desire and unwavering commitment enabled him to translate so many of his creative ideas into actionable steps. Dean consistently sought opportunities to grow and advance, especially when faced with adversity. He worked tirelessly to do what was right for the right reasons.
