At my local Walmart, the same thing happens every year, during the week after the 4th of July. They start putting out all of the “Back To School” items in their seasonal section.
Just a week before, this section was filled with beach towels, flip-flops and sunscreen and now it is full of notebooks, folders and pencil cases. I don’t know about you, but I usually spend the rest of July actively avoiding the "Back To School” section because it feels like summer just started!
Depending on where you live, there is a wide range of dates on which teachers return to campus for their Teacher In-Service Days. I have heard dates as early as July 14 and as late as August 20. Regardless of when your teachers come back, I want to help you make their first few days as impactful as possible.
On today’s episode of The Private School Leader Podcast, we are going to discuss 5 Ways To Improve Your Teacher In-Service Days.
Thank you for listening to the podcast every week. You are making a difference in the lives of the students, teachers and parents at your school. I know that what you do is difficult, exhausting and lonely. Your hard work inspires me to keep making weekly content to try to encourage and inspire you as you serve your school.
Thanks for all you do,
Mark Minkus
