It is 2025. Alligator Alcatraz is open for business. The Trump tax cuts appear to be on their way to being made permanent. Donald Trump is still fighting against the establishment in the D.C. swamp, as well as the lawless, lower federal courts. Common sense and the Constitution have generally prevailed in the Supreme Court, with decisions typically coming in at six to three. And yet, pride in being an American is at an all-time low, especially among people who identify as Democrats.

Today, the day before Independence Day, 2025, I will discuss the topics of why some are not proud of America in this moment, why they should be, what they should do if they are not, and what the rest of 2025 is expected to look like politically with a group of regularly returning guests.
