Description

Today we discuss our workshop with Dr. Daniel Siegel, Psychiatrist and Executive Director of the Mindsight Institute, where we learned more about mindfulness and how it can change every aspect of our lives AND our children’s lives. We also talk about our contribution to Kids in the House, a video parenting resource where experts address all of your parenting issues. A listener shares how her partner had her back, and we give you a sneak peek of our interview with Tara Mohr (on Conversations with People We Love) that will air Friday.

President Obama made a surprise appearance at the Grammy’s last night talking about the It’s On Us campaign.  The foundation of It’s On Us is:

  • To RECOGNIZE that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.
  • To IDENTIFY situations in which sexual assault may occur.
  • To INTERVENE in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.
  • To CREATE an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
