Let’s fulfill our potential!

Published 10 years, 10 months ago
Description

We discuss the book Mindset: The New Psychology of Success – How We Can Learn to Fulfill Our Potential, specifically the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset by Carol Dweck. Understanding the difference will make an impact on how your relate to yourself and your kids, and it will impact how your kids learn. We also discuss how to help kids trust themselves, how we can help kids make decisions, and how to “soften the edges” around our kids worry. We also answer a listener’s question regarding how to midify screen time for our kids.  We mention an earlier podcast we did addressing this topic.  It was called iPad, Throwing Snowballs at Cars, & “Roadhouse”  as well as listen to our friend Hunter Clarke Fields explain how her partner has her back.  She has a Daily Practice resourcse for moms that can be found @ http://hunteryoga.com/daily/start.php
