My next guest is Latosha Stone. She is a 33-year-old artist and skateboarder from Dayton, Ohio. She has been running Proper Gnar since 2013. Proper Gnar is a streetwear brand focusing on skateboarding and girl power. It is your go-to stop for original skate decks, clothing, pins, art, hats, and more. All of the designs are drawn by Stone herself, and she sponsors a small women's skateboarding team. Proper Gnar is the only Black woman-owned skateboarding company in the market today. The founder and artist Latosha Stone channel her genuine love for skateboarding into creating custom skateboards, clothing, and art prints that are unlike any other brands. She is on the show to discuss being the First Black-Woman To Own A Skateboard Brand. Because of the pandemic, she was laid off from her main job, but the story gets better. Please welcome to Money Making Conversations Latosha Stone.
