Ohio State football’s home opener is against a middle-of-the-pack FCS school which means it’s probably going to win by 50.
The services of its stars, starters and established players won’t be needed for very long for OSU to walk away with a win over Youngstown State. So Stephen Means, Nathan Baird and Andrew Gillis aren’t going to spend any time talking about those guys.
Instead, they’ll be talking about the players behind them who will each be getting extended playing. Maybe those extra snaps lead to something more this season, or maybe it’s just a preview of what is to come.
