Zeke McDermott is on the #ReadingWithYourKids #Podcast to celebrate his Natural World Of Wisdom #PictureBook series. Zeke is a recent college graduate who spent his last year of school at home due to the pandemic. During that time he had a chance to really connect with his much younger sister through reading together. Zeke tells us that books like his "Natural World of Wisdom Books" are great but they are only the starting point. It is important for parents to use these books as "tools" to start larger conversations and genuinely help their children express themselves as who they are. He believes, as we do, that families will undoubtedly grow closer together if parents actively seek to create experiences, conversations, or activities that are purposeful and targeted to teach a child something about themselves or the world.
